I gotta get a new job.
I started looking at job listings and found myself wondering how much of the market I was actually seeing.
Am I seeing what's available, or am I seeing what an algorithm thinks I should see?
I wanted more control over how I discovered opportunities. ween recommendations, sponsored posts, AI-generated suggestions, and platform-specific filters, it felt like someone else's algorithm was deciding what opportunities made it into my feed.
So I started digging. And started this project - this pulls live listings directly from company job boards, starting with some major tech names, instead of treating a platform feed as the source of truth.

The back story
I kept thinking there has to be a better way.
The homepage is the current working surface: companies, job data, and the rough shape of the experiment. The longer story about why I built it, what I decided along the way, and where it would need to change for scale now lives with the decision notes.
